Visual DataFlex offers many different database back-end configurations, so that you can select the best database environment for your own application. One of the database engines that DataFlex has supported for many years is the Pervasive database engine, formerly known as Btrieve, which also offers a high-speed navigational database well-suited for multiple users working simultaneously.
